1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Logan Teal, sole proprietor (“Purchase Orderly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Purchase Orderly website and application (the “Service”).

2. Information we collect

  • Account information— your name and email, handled through our authentication provider.
  • Company profile— details you provide about your company, such as name, address, and logo.
  • Content you enter— the purchase order, vendor, and project data you create, and any files you upload (such as terms and conditions documents).
  • Billing information— processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Technical and usage data— log data, device and browser information, and IP address, used to operate and secure the Service.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and operate the Service: to authenticate you, store and render your purchase orders, enable the follow-ups you initiate, process billing, secure the Service, send service-related communications, and comply with our legal obligations.

4. Email follow-ups

Purchase order follow-ups are sent from your own email client using a pre-filled draft (a “mailto” link). We do not send those emails on your behalf and do not store your recipient lists for the purpose of sending email.

5. Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service, each of which processes data on our behalf under its own terms:
  • Clerk— authentication and user/organization management.
  • Supabase— database and file storage.
  • Stripe— subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Vercel— application hosting.

6. Data isolation

Your company's data is scoped to your workspace and is not shared with or accessible to other companies using the Service.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are essential to operate the Service, such as those required to keep you signed in and maintain your session.

8. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. After your account is closed or your subscription ends, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it to comply with the law.

9. Your rights

You may request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.

10. International transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your data may be transferred to those locations.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls scoped to your company. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

12. Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email.
